Position Type: Contractor full time
Position Locatio: Melbourne (Tullamarine), VIC, Australia
Position Term (Initially): 12 months (shall be extended based on performance and project load)
Applicant Status: Australian Citizen or Australian Resident
CKAS is searching for a semi experienced (or experienced) mechatronics engineer for the development of simulation hardware. ideally, the applicant will have at least 5 years experience, and will have had some exposure to many or all of the following:
- CAD design (ideally SolidWorks) and drawing preparation for production (Important)
- Electrical engineering experience mainly digital circuit design (EaglePCB) and development (Significant)
- Embedded System development (microcontroller systems - ideally Atmel Atmega 8 bit and 32 bit)

- Practical assembly experience and using basic hand tools
- Project management experience
Although it is not essential for the applicant to have experience in all of the above fields, it is essential that the applicant has very high capability, and CKAS demands the highest of standards and quality in output. The position shall be very demanding, and we are searching for the highest quality applicants with "World Class" standards and capabilities. This position is not appropriate for inexperienced applicants
