Qualifications

AHPRA registration

Membership with professional body

Victorian Police Check

Australian driver's license

Experience in your field (preferred but not essential)

Working Hours

- Full time OR Part time options available.
- We are open from 8AM to 8PM Monday to Friday & 8AM to 6PM on Saturday
- You are able to select the working hours that suit you best

What you will do:

IN ADDITION TO THE NEW GRADUATE ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Evaluating the medical history and the movement and functional abilities of new patients

Developing treatment plans based on medical diagnoses

Providing patients with massage therapy to relieve soft tissue pain

Mobilizing and manipulating muscles and joints





Providing treatment using physiotherapy and rehabilitation equipment

Giving patients exercises designed to strengthen and increase their motor abilities

Showing patients exercises that they can perform on their own at home (and correcting any incorrect posture / movements)

Keeping updated patient records detailing all therapy provided (i.e. treatment and results)

Adjusting plans and prescribing new treatment, where necessary

Community based work with travel and seeing various client types across all ages

Conduct comprehensive assessments for children with physical disabilities, neurological conditions, or developmental delays.

Implement play-based therapy techniques to engage children in movement activities.

Provide family-centered care, educating parents and caregivers on therapy techniques for home use.

Recommend and fit mobility aids, orthotics, and assistive devices to support independence.

Advocate for inclusion and participation in schools, sports, and community program

YOU WILL ALSO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Taking on more clients

Seeing a greater variety of clients of all types

Look at completing AT assessment and reports independently





Be able to effectively supervise AHA students in clinic

Be able to effectively supervise AHA students in clinic

Be a buddy for new grad Physiotherapists

Participate in MDT training and workshops

Begin to build skills in particular clinical areas

Work closely with NDIS planners, Support Coordinators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure funding and treatment align with participant goals.
