The Jamestech Group of Companies are well-respected Electrical Contractors servicing the Mining and Minerals, Oil and Gas industries throughout Australia, PNG and Abroad.

Jamestech has for many years assisted several Hard Rock Mines and Processing Plants in North West Qld with Electrical Project and Maintenance support.

We are needing to grow our team and require the services of :

Electrical Tradesmen - Underground Mining (Projects & Maintenance)

The roles would suit experienced FIFO workers and those new to mining who have the relevant skills and are keen to learn about working in the mining setting. The person would be looking for a longer-term role and enjoy working within a small team.

Essential requirements:

- Qld Electrical Fitter / Mechanic license (or equivalent)
- Mining / Underground Experience
- Excellent Safety Culture
- Current First Aid Cert
- Current Australian Manual Drivers License
- Current LVR & CPR
- Need to have a good all-round attitude

Preferred though not necessary:

- HV switching
- Instrumentation & Process Control
- EWP
- Working at Heights
- Working in Confined Spaces

Must be able to complete (or already have):

- MMQ / Workplace Medical
- Clear National Police Clearance

Date - start ASAP

Roster - 15 days on / 13 days off ( Ex. Bne, Tsv, Cns)
