What you'll be doing

This position is primarily designed to benefit junior doctors who wish to pursue a career in urology.





The Unaccredited Trainee will provide effective surgical services to patients under supervision in complex clinical environments whilst facilitating the Unaccredited Trainee preparation for a career in urology.

- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia
- At least three years' post graduate experience in public hospital service (or equivalent)
Minimum (
- six months urology experience
- Demonstrated commitment to pursuing a career in surgery with a view to future training with RACS. This includes completion of primary RACS Examinations
- Evidence of continued professional development appropriate to an early surgical career, commitment to self-directed education and teaching of undergraduates and postgraduates.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilizing excellent clinical skills, judgement and expertise.
- Demonstrated effective teamwork, time management and problem solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary clinical care team.
