Wollemi Energy Group is growing our renewable energy portfolio, and we're looking for a Construction Project Manager to help deliver our projects from the ground up.

About the role

As Construction Project Manager, you'll take ownership of the technical and operational delivery of our renewable energy projects, from interpreting engineering drawings and specifications through to commissioning. You'll be the connective tissue between design, construction, and compliance, working closely with engineers, contractors, and local authorities to make sure our projects land on time, on budget, and to the standard we hold ourselves to.

What you'll be doing

- Reviewing and interpreting architectural, civil and electrical drawings and specifications for distributed solar sites
- Developing, managing and updating detailed project schedules across multiple concurrent sites, tracking milestones and identifying and resolving program slippage
- Liaising directly with design engineers, electrical engineers and other technical consultants to resolve site-specific construction issues as they arise
- Monitoring project budgets against forecast, tracking costs, approving variations,



and reporting on cost performance to senior management
- Ensuring activities comply with the relevant Australian Standards, and Wollemi Energy Group's safety, quality and environmental management systems
- Conducting regular site inspections to oversee subcontractor workmanship against contract specifications and quality standards, and issuing rectification instructions where required

Qualifications and Experience:

- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field), plus a minimum of one year's direct experience in a similar construction project management role; OR
- At least five years of relevant industry experience in lieu of a formal qualification
- Experience managing solar or renewable energy construction projects highly regarded, though robust transferable experience in building or infrastructure construction will also be considered.

Salary Range: $160,000 - $180,000 + super per year

Pay: $160,000.00 – $180,000.00 per year
