Software Developer – Women's Healthcare Platform (Hybrid – Melbourne)

Salary: AUD $82,000–$91,000 plus Superannuation (depending on experience)

About Us

BeeTech is an Australian technology company developing an innovative mobile platform focused on women's healthcare. We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to help design, develop and maintain secure, scalable backend systems and mobile application functionality for this specialised healthcare solution.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.

- Develop and integrate mobile application features.

- Work closely with product managers and UI/UX designers to implement current functionality.

- Develop and optimise algorithms supporting women's healthcare features.

- Integrate third-party APIs and cloud-based services.

- Ensure application security, performance and reliability.

- Perform testing, debugging and ongoing system improvements.

- Prepare technical documentation and participate in code reviews.

Essential Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline.

- Minimum 3 years' professional software development experience.

- Strong experience with backend development and RESTful API design.

- Experience developing mobile applications.





- Demonstrated experience working on healthcare or women's healthcare software solutions.

- Strong knowledge of database design and optimisation.

- Experience with cloud platforms and modern software development practices

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid team environment based in Melbourne.

Highly Desirable

- Certified Meta Backend Developer.

- Experience developing healthcare algorithms or clinical decision-support functionality.

- Experience with Flutter, React Native or similar mobile frameworks.

- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

- Knowledge of secure handling of sensitive health information.
