Bunbury & Busselton Towing is a fast-paced towing and transport operation servicing the South West region. We work closely with insurance companies, auctions, dealerships, businesses and the general public to provide reliable towing, transport and storage solutions.

We are seeking an organised, motivated and hands on Warehouse & Dispatch Coordinator to join our team.

This is not a desk-only role. It combines office based dispatch and customer service with hands on yard operations, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable working both in the office and outdoors. One minute you'll be coordinating tow trucks and speaking with customers, the next you'll be operating a forklift, moving vehicles around the yard or assisting with our salvage operations.

About the Role

As our Warehouse & Dispatch Coordinator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of our operation.

You'll be responsible for coordinating towing and transport jobs, communicating with customers and drivers, managing insurance work and assisting with the organisation of our vehicle storage yard and salvage operations.

This role requires someone who can think ahead, prioritize workloads, make confident decisions under pressure and work independently while maintaining a skilled and customer-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities

DISPATCH & OPERATIONS

- Answering incoming phone calls and customer enquiries
- Booking jobs into our dispatch software (Linksoft)
- Dispatching and coordinating tow truck drivers




- Monitoring and prioritising incoming insurance jobs received directly through Linksoft
- Managing urgent and time-sensitive jobs appropriately
- Communicating pricing and service costs to customers
- Processing credit card payments for non-account customers
- Coordinating vehicle collections and transport for our Pickles account
- Liaising with auction purchasers regarding vehicle collection arrangements
- Booking transport jobs within required due dates
- Maintaining accurate records and job updates within Linksoft
- Assisting with general administration and operational coordination

YARD & SALVAGE OPERATIONS

- Operate a forklift to safely load, unload and reposition vehicles.
- Assist with vehicle salvage processing.
- Photograph vehicles for insurance and auction requirements.
- Maintain an organised, safe and efficient vehicle storage yard.
- Prepare vehicles for transport, collection and auction.
- Assist drivers with general yard operations as required.

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

- Hold a current forklift licence and be confident operating a forklift around vehicles.

Highly Regarded

Experience in any of the following industries will be highly regarded:

- Towing
- Transport and logistics
- Heavy vehicles
- Machinery or civil equipment
- Automotive or mechanical workshops
- Vehicle salvage or auctions

A practical understanding of trucks, machinery or heavy vehicles would be an advantage. Previous dispatch experience is beneficial but not essential—we are happy to train the right person who has the right attitude, practical experience and willingness to learn.

Afterhours Requirements

This position includes participation in an afterhours phone roster approximately one weekend per month. During rostered weekends, the afterhours phone may receive calls 24 hours a day and applicants must be available to respond appropriately.
