Liverpool Hospital's Cardiology & Cardiothoracic Unit is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurses to join our highly specialised team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient-centred care. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, you will partner with nurses, medical officers, allied health professionals, and support staff to provide outstanding care to patients with complex cardiac and cardiothoracic conditions.

We're looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse who is committed to delivering exceptional patient care and thrives in a collaborative team environment. You will bring strong clinical judgement, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centred approach to supporting individuals throughout their cardiac and cardiothoracic care journey.

- Demonstrate a compassionate and patient-focused approach, with solid attention to detail, particularly in telemetry monitoring and the care of pre and post cardiothoracic surgical patients.
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and members of the multidisciplinary team, using excellent active listening skills to support patient care goals.
- Display flexibility, empathy, and professionalism when caring for patients who may experience cognitive impairment, communication difficulties, or behavioural challenges.
- Bring a collaborative approach to practice, contributing positively to team culture and supporting shared patient care outcomes.
- Be flexible to work a rotating shift roster, including weekends and public holidays.

Selection Criteria

- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
