Lead the launch of Geebung’s newest craft brewery taproom! We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on Venue Manager to build a team, create a great taproom vibe, and drive local community energy.
As Venue Manager, you’ll be running the floor and managing day-to-day operations. You will work closely with the brewing team to deliver an exceptional guest experience while keeping operations smooth and profitable.
Your key responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Hire, train, and inspire a front-of-house team that delivers warm, efficient service.
- Daily Operations: Manage rosters, inventory, cellar control, draft beer quality, and POS systems.
- Culture & Vibe: Set the standard for customer service, ensuring the taproom is clean, welcoming, and high-energy.
- Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Queensland liquor licensing, RSA, and WHS standards.
- Events & Growth: Drive local community engagement, taproom events.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven Experience: 2+ years as a Venue Manager or Assistant Manager in a craft brewery, busy pub, or high-volume taproom.
- Beer Knowledge: Solid understanding of draft systems, beer styles, and cellar management (or a strong eagerness to master it).
- Leadership: A hands-on approach—you lead from the floor, not behind an office desk.
- Certification: Current QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Approved Manager / RMLV certification..
Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
