Redcape Hospitality is looking for a full time Commis Chef to join the kitchen team at Saltwater Creek Hotel in Helensvale.
Whether you’re qualified, currently completing your cookery studies or building your experience in a commercial kitchen, this is an opportunity to learn from experienced chefs and develop through regular, hands-on service.

What You’ll Do
- Prepare ingredients and assist with service across the kitchen
- Cook and plate meals to recipe and presentation standards
- Build confidence across kitchen sections under the guidance of senior chefs
- Communicate closely with the team during busy service periods
- Keep your workspace clean, organised and ready for service
- Follow food safety, hygiene and WHS procedures
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, or currently working towards it, is desirable
- A genuine interest in learning and developing as a chef
- The ability to stay organised and work confidently during busy services
- A reliable team member who responds positively to coaching and feedback
- Availability across weekdays, evenings, weekends and public holidays
Applicants must have ongoing Australian working rights. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
