RESIDENTIAL PLASTERER – 12-MONTH CONTRACT

Pay: $50 per hour, including paid travel between job sites

We are looking for an experienced and fully qualified residential plasterer to join our on-the-road maintenance and repair team on a 12-month contract. This position offers consistent residential plastering work, strong hourly pay and full payment for time spent travelling between scheduled job sites. You will be paid $50 per hour for all working time, including travel between jobs.

THE ROLE

You will travel between residential properties and complete a range of plastering repairs, maintenance work and smaller installation jobs. Typical work may include repairing cracks and holes, replacing damaged plasterboard, patching walls and ceilings, stopping and sanding, installing plasterboard, repairing cornices, preparing surfaces for painting or tiling and completing general residential plaster repairs. You will be expected to assess each job, determine the correct repair method and complete the work to a professional standard. This is an on-the-road position involving multiple residential job sites.

PAY AND CONTRACT

The position pays $50 per hour. Travel time between scheduled job sites is paid at the full hourly rate. This is a 12-month contract with consistent work available for the right person.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

You must be a fully qualified plasterer. You must have substantial proven experience completing residential plastering work. You must have your own qualified plastering tools and equipment. You must be confident completing jobs independently from assessment through to final finish. You must be experienced in hanging plasterboard, stopping, patching, sanding, cornice work and repairing walls and ceilings.



You must produce clean, straight and paint-ready finishes. You must be extremely reliable, punctual and responsive to calls and text messages. You must communicate immediately if there is any issue affecting a customer, job or schedule. You must work efficiently while maintaining a consistently high standard. You must protect customers’ floors, furniture and surrounding areas while working. You must clean the work area thoroughly after completing each job. You must treat customers and their properties professionally and respectfully.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced residential plasterer who can attend a property, assess the damage and complete the required work without constant supervision. You should be confident working across a variety of residential properties and handling both minor repairs and more involved plasterboard replacement work. Reliability is essential. We need someone who arrives on time, responds promptly to messages, follows the daily schedule and can be trusted to complete every job properly. This role is best suited to someone who takes pride in producing smooth, professional finishes and leaving every property clean and presentable.
