We are looking for an experienced Alterations Specialist to take ownership of our busy express alterations kiosk. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, delivering high-quality workmanship, and providing excellent customer service.

This is more than just a sewing role—we're looking for someone who can confidently manage the day-to-day operation of the kiosk and ensure every customer receives fast, professional service.

About the Role

You will be responsible for:

- Performing high-quality clothing alterations and repairs
- Conducting customer fittings and providing alteration advice
- Managing customer enquiries and taking bookings
- Operating the point-of-sale system and processing payments
- Organising workflow to meet express turnaround times
- Maintaining a clean, professional, and efficient workspace
- Managing the kiosk independently during your shift
- Delivering outstanding customer service and building repeat business

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

- Proven experience in clothing alterations and garment repairs
- Solid sewing skills using industrial sewing machines
- Experience with hems, zips,



trouser adjustments, dresses, jackets, school uniforms, and general garment alterations
- Confidence dealing directly with customers and conducting fittings
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pride in producing quality workmanship
- A positive, reliable, and professional attitude

Highly Regarded

Experience with:

- Bridal and formalwear alterations
- Suit tailoring
- Leather or delicate fabrics
- High-volume or express alteration services
