About the Company:
Monash Auto Body is a well-established automotive repair workshop located in Clayton, Victoria. We are specialists in collision repairs, structural bodywork, spray painting, and refinishing for a wide range of vehicles. Due to increasing demand, we are looking to expand our team with multiple full-time Panel Beaters and Vehicle Spray Painters.

Positions Available:

1. Panel Beaters

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspecting damaged vehicles to assess extent of repairs required
- Dismantling damaged components and panels
- Repairing dents, scratches, and deformities to bodywork
- Realigning vehicle frames and unibodies
- Replacing irreparable parts and reassembling components
- Performing sanding, filing, and polishing as needed
- Ensuring quality control on all completed work
- Following all OH&S; practices and maintaining a clean work area

Requirements:

- Trade qualification in panel beating or at least 3 years’ relevant work experience
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and precision in repairs
- Sound knowledge of vehicle structures and body repair techniques

2. Vehicle Spray Painters

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting, including masking and sanding
- Mixing and matching paint colours to manufacturer specifications
- Applying primers, base coats, and clear coats using spray booth equipment
- Polishing and buffing surfaces to produce high-quality finishes
- Carrying out touch-ups and paint corrections as required




- Performing quality checks to ensure finished work meets industry standards
- Maintaining spray equipment and ensuring compliance with OH&S; and environmental guidelines

Requirements:

- Trade qualification in spray painting or minimum 3 years’ relevant experience
- Proficient in automotive painting techniques and use of spray booth systems
- Excellent eye for colour and finish quality
- Reliable, team-oriented and able to work under minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
