Primary School Maths & English Teacher (VIT Registered) – Part-Time/Casual

BestBrains Learning Centre is seeking passionate and dedicated VIT Registered Teachers to teach Maths and English to primary school students from Prep to Grade 6.

Our enrichment programs are delivered in small groups with a 1:4 teacher-to-student ratio, allowing teachers to provide individualized support and ensure every child reaches their full potential. No prep work is required and all material with instructions are supplied by us.

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging Maths and English lessons to students from Prep to Grade 6.
- Teach and reinforce concepts aligned with the Victorian Curriculum.
- Assess student understanding and provide targeted support where required.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Communicate student progress and learning outcomes to Centre Management.
- Support students in developing confidence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Essential Requirements

- Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Registration.




- Strong understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and primary school learning outcomes.
- Thorough knowledge of primary school Maths concepts and English literacy skills.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for helping children achieve academic success.
- Current Working With Children Check.
