This small, established Aussie tech firm is entering an exciting phase of growth and sector expansion. They have proven, innovative software solutions, a strong customer base and ambitious plans.

This role is responsible for the HR function, overseeing and managing HR admin., performance management and organisational development. Through a respectful, professional, constructive and energetic style, the People & Capability Manager provides the leadership and vision necessary to ensure talent management & development, organisational capability expansion as well as compliance and governance.

The role

- Collaborates closely with leadership team to develop HR strategy, processes and operational initiatives.
- Executes the People and Culture strategy.
- Establish best-practice People and Culture business partnering.
- Develops and maintains a suite of policies and procedures.
- Maintains effective Talent Acquisition, onboarding and off-boarding processes.
- Sets and implements a competitive remuneration structure and other recognition policies.
- Manages performance review processes.
- Executes succession planning practices.
- Develops and embeds talent management programs.
- Builds a data-led HR operations capability supported by systems, processes, and policies.




- Ensures effective and efficient office administration and internal communications.

About you

- Self-motivated, collaborative team player, supporting the leadership team.
- 2 to 5 years experience in Human Resources.
- Knowledge of strategic, business and management principles and practices.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to motivate & encourage staff.
- Able to produce effective summaries and reports as required.
- Effective and supportive people skills, able to quickly build rapport and trust.
- Positive, professional attitude.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Professional accountability, diplomacy skills and a professional manner that generates credibility.
- Familiar with HRIS, analytics, support tools and IT proficiency.
- A passion for connecting with people to produce results.
- Flexibility to meet work requirements as dictated by business objectives.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
