Multi-skilled Operator - Queensland Civil & Construction Industry

The Opportunity

CH Civil & Co Pty Ltd. is a leading civil and construction company operating across Queensland. We are seeking an experienced Multi-skilled Operator to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and safety-focused individual to work on a variety of exciting civil projects, including road construction, subdivisions, and bulk earthworks.

Key Responsibilities

Safely and proficiently operate a grader for various civil and construction tasks, including:

- Final trim grading to design specifications (GPS/UTS experience highly regarded)
- Bulk earthworks, subgrade treatments, and road formation
- Construction and maintenance of roads, verges, drains, and other civil infrastructure
- Perform pre-start checks, daily maintenance, and minor repairs on the machine as required.
- Work from drawings, markers, and verbal instructions to ensure project accuracy.
- Adhere to all Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and other team members.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to quality workmanship and efficient project delivery.
- Assist with general labouring duties on site when required.

Key Selection Criteria

- Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Operator in the civil and construction industry.




- Demonstrated competency in final trim grading.
- Relevant Operator "tickets" or Statement of Attainment
- Current Queensland "C" Class driver's licence.
- Construction Induction Card (White Card).
- Robust understanding of road construction and maintenance techniques and standards.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- A solid commitment to a safe work environment.
- (Desirable) Experience with GPS or UTS technology.
- (Desirable) Heavy Vehicle (HR or higher) licence.
