This is a hands-on retail management role responsible not only for leading the team on the floor, but also for ensuring the store operates effectively across staffing, inventory, financial performance, and customer experience.
Qualifications:
Diploma or higher qualification in a relevant field, or at least three years of relevant work experience.
Experience:
At least one year of relevant work experience where a relevant qualification is held.

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Staffing
- Assist with recruitment, interviews, and onboarding of new team members
- Monitor staff performance and provide coaching and development
- Foster a positive, high-performance team culture
- Ensure team members maintain strong product knowledge and service standards
Store Operations & Performance
- Ensure the store operates efficiently on a daily basis
- Monitor store performance and assist in achieving sales and operational targets
- Participate in pricing discussions and promotional planning
- Help implement purchasing and marketing initiatives at store level
Inventory & Stock Management
- Manage inventory levels to ensure appropriate stock availability
- Assist with ordering stock and determining appropriate product mix
- Oversee stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records
- Monitor product performance and assist with decisions regarding product range
Customer Experience & Sales
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences and lead by example on the sales floor
- Advise customers on products, repairs, and services
- Promote store services and accessories to customers
- Ensure service standards are consistently maintained
Financial & Compliance Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial and stock records
- Assist with budgeting and store performance tracking
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
- Ensure operational procedures and company policies are followed
