What’s the role?

- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver culturally safe podiatry services to Central Australia.

- Provide community-centered foot care services to Congress clients, including management of diabetes-related food complications.

- Help to develop and implement culturally responsive podiatric service, including a community-based high risk foot clinic, outreach to remote communities and a highly regarded regional on-call telehealth service.

Is this the right role for you?

- Tertiary qualifications in Podiatry

- Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration





- Experience in management of the high-risk foot

- Stakeholder management skills with proven ability to communicate in (written and oral) at a high level, form positive working relationships, adapt to audience, problem solve and manage conflicts;

- Understanding or knowledge of the wider allied health workforce

- Understanding of the complexities of service delivery to remote Aboriginal communities

- Ability to travel to and work in remote locations up to a week at a time, including travel on light aircraft. 7

- Current NT driver’s licence or ability to obtain.

- Graduate Podiatrists will practice within their scope and receive ongoing supervision from senior podiatrists.
Outreach services and regular overnight travel to remote communities are inherent requirements of the position.
