Join our vibrant toy library team as a Borrowing Session Volunteer and be part of the magic that brings joy to kids of all ages! You'll be at the heart of our community, helping families discover and enjoy an array of exciting toys:
- Work closely with other volunteers, staff members, and the toy library management to create a positive and inclusive environment for all visitors.
- Help members of the toy library with selecting and borrowing toys based on their interests and developmental needs.
- Inspect and clean toys before they are borrowed, ensuring they are in good condition and safe for use. Assist in minor repairs if needed.
- Help catalogue recent toy arrivals, organise shelves, and maintain an organised and welcoming environment within the library.
- Participate in special events, workshops,
and play sessions organised by the toy library to engage children and families in creative play and learning experiences.
- Provide information about toy library membership, policies, and procedures to visitors, helping them understand the benefits and rules of the library.
- Share suggestions for new toys, activities, or improvements that could enhance the toy library's offerings.
- Help promote the toy library within the local community through word of mouth, social media, and other outreach activities
