About the Role:




We are looking for a Guest Service Agents to join the team to help us welcome guests back to our newly refurbished hotel. In this role, you'll be responsible for:

- Welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism, managing check-in, check-out and everything in between.
- Handling reservations, enquiries and guest requests promptly, in person and over the phone.
- Processing payments, billing and room charges accurately in line with hotel procedures.
- Coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to maintain “Room Ready on Arrival” standards for every guest.
- Resolving guest concerns calmly and confidently, escalating to a supervisor where needed.
- Sharing local knowledge and recommendations that help guests make the most of The Rocks and Sydney.
- Maintaining high standards of presentation, professionalism and conduct across front-of-house areas.

What You'll Bring

- Experience in guest service, front office or a similar customer-facing role is a bonus, but not essential.
- A confident, welcoming communication style, in person and over the phone.
- Comfort using a Property Management System (Opera experience well regarded) and general computer literacy.




- The ability to stay calm and think on your feet during busy periods or unexpected situations.
- A genuine interest in hospitality and in being part of a hotel's opening team.
