Qualified Plasterer – Commercial Projects

Modular Interior Linings is looking for an experienced plasterer to join our commercial team.

We deliver wall and ceiling packages across schools, hospitals, retail developments, gyms and other commercial projects throughout regional and metropolitan Victoria.

This position would suit a reliable, capable plasterer who takes pride in their work, can work independently when required and wants steady, long-term employment with a well-established local contractor.

The role

Depending on your experience, your work may include:

- Setting out and constructing steel-stud partitions
- Installing plasterboard wall and ceiling linings
- Suspended ceilings, bulkheads and feature ceilings
- Fire-rated and acoustic wall and ceiling systems
- Reading plans, wall-type schedules and construction details
- Working with and helping guide apprentices and less-experienced team members
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and site safety

What we’re looking for

- Qualified plasterer or an experienced tradesperson with strong commercial plastering skills
- Experience with steel-stud framing and plasterboard installation
- Ability to read plans and follow wall and ceiling specifications
- Reliable,



productive and able to work as part of a crew
- Current White Card
- Current driver licence and reliable transport
- Willingness to travel to projects throughout regional Victoria and Melbourne when required
- A practical attitude and the ability to get on with the job
