About the role

Join the team at the Matraville Hotel as a Hotel Duty Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring an exceptional experience for all guests. Based in Matraville, NSW you will play a key strategic role in the success of this hospitality establishment.

What you'll be doing

- Manage the daily operations of the hotel
- Work rotating shifts across different times of the day to ensure continuous operational coverage
- Coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a qualified and timely manner
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel premises
- Implement and enforce hotel policies and procedures
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive business growth
- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of hotel operations

What we're looking for

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar hotel management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills




- Excellent customer service orientation with the ability to handle guest interactions effectively
- Proficient in using hotel management software and systems
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Australian citizenship is required for this position
