Aquarius Property Management is located in Birtinya, just a short walk from the Sunshine Coast University Hospital. We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Housekeeper to join our friendly team.
We are looking for someone who is professional, takes pride in their work, has a keen eye for detail, and is able to work both independently and as part of a team.
About the Role
You will be responsible for ensuring our serviced apartments are cleaned and presented to a high standard, ready for arriving guests. Duties include:
- Making beds and changing linen
- Cleaning bathrooms, kitchens and living areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and sanitising all surfaces
- Replenishing guest amenities and consumables
- Reporting maintenance issues or damaged items
- Cleaning and maintaining common areas, including hallways, lifts and reception areas as required
- Carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning
- Carrying out periodic deep cleans to maintain presentation standards
- Working efficiently within allocated timeframes while maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
Hours
Work generally starts at approximately 9:00 am and finishes by around 2:00 pm, depending on occupancy and business levels. These hours are ideal for parents with school-aged children.
Flexibility to work across a seven-day roster is preferred. We are particularly seeking applicants who are available on Mondays, Fridays and Sundays.
About You
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential
- Willingness to learn and a positive attitude
- Robust attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and well presented
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning duties
- The right to work in Australia
