We are seeking experienced and values-driven Disability Justice Support Workers who are committed to helping participants build safer, more independent, and meaningful lives.

About the Role

This is more than a traditional disability support position.

You will work alongside participants with complex support needs, including those with mental health conditions, forensic histories, offending behaviours, and significant psychosocial challenges. Your role is to support participants to reduce risks, increase independence, strengthen community connections, and achieve positive long-term outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

* Supporting participants to achieve their NDIS goals and individual support plans.

* Providing person-centred support with daily living, personal care, medication assistance and community participation.

* Working therapeutically with participants experiencing mental illness, emotional dysregulation, trauma and complex behaviours.

* Supporting participants who are at risk of reoffending or re-incarceration through structured, recovery-focused and capacity-building approaches.





* Implementing Behaviour Support Plans, Risk Management Plans and Positive Behaviour Support strategies.

* Promoting social inclusion, independence and skill development.

* Building respectful and professional relationships with participants, families, clinicians, justice agencies and multidisciplinary teams.

* Maintaining accurate progress notes, incident reports and professional documentation in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for professionals who demonstrate maturity, resilience and sound professional judgement.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting people with:

* Psychosocial disability and complex mental health.

* Justice involvement, forensic disability or participants at risk of re-incarceration.

* Complex behaviours and Positive Behaviour Support.

* Trauma-informed and recovery-oriented practice.

* Supported Independent Living (SIL) and community-based supports.

Most importantly, you genuinely believe people can change when provided with the right support, opportunities and relationships.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must hold:

* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

* Current WA Working with Children Check

* National Police Clearance

* Current First Aid and CPR Certificate

* Current Australian Driver’s Licence

* Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

* NDIS Worker Orientation Module





* NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Certificate

* NDIS Supporting Protected and Enjoyable Meals Certificate

* Manual Handling Certificate

* Medication Administration Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

* Infection Prevention and Control Certificate

* Full Australian working rights

Qualifications in Community Services, Disability, Mental Health, Psychology, Social Work, Criminology or related fields will be highly regarded.

Availability

Our participants require consistent support across a 24-hour roster.

Applicants must be available to work a combination of:

* Morning shifts

* Afternoon shifts

* Evening shifts

* Sleepover shifts

* Active night shifts

* Weekends and public holidays when required
