We're looking for a motivated podiatrist to join us on a subcontractor basis at our Carlton clinic, with the opportunity to build and grow their own patient base within an established, supportive practice.
About the Role
As a subcontracted podiatrist, you'll operate as an independent practitioner using our Carlton clinic space, equipment, and admin support, while managing your own patient care under your own provider number and insurance.
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality podiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients
- Building and maintaining strong patient relationships and treatment plans (e.g. biomechanical assessment, gait analysis, orthotics, general/sports podiatry)
- Accurate and timely clinical record-keeping (SOAP notes) in line with AHPRA and Podiatry Board standards
- Communicating professionally with patients, reception staff, and other practitioners at the clinic
- Contributing to a positive, collaborative clinic culture
- Growing your own caseload through excellent patient care and (optionally) contributing to clinic marketing/content
About You
Essential:
- Registered (or eligible for registration) with AHPRA as a Podiatrist
- Current, valid Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Own ABN and comfort working as an independent contractor
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and patient-education skills
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
Highly regarded:
- Experience treating a range of presentations (sports injuries, biomechanical issues, diabetic foot care, orthotic prescription, etc.)
- Existing patient base you can bring across
- Confidence with social media / content creation to support your own patient growth
