About the Role

You'll be working alongside a supportive team that genuinely cares about doing right by clients, with the flexibility to grow into the role at your own pace. Whether you're an experienced practitioner or still working towards your qualification, we're excited to have someone join us who's passionate about helping Australia's Chinese-speaking community feel heard, understood, and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual therapy/counselling sessions to clients, including Mandarin/Cantonese-speaking clients
- Build genuine, trusting relationships with clients and support them through their goals
- Keep accurate, timely session notes and documentation
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the team, including check-ins and case discussions as needed
- Stay engaged with ongoing learning and development (extra support provided if you're still studying)
About You
- Someone registered as a psychologist (AHPRA), a qualified counsellor, or currently studying towards a psychology/counselling qualification
- Fluent in Mandarin and/or Cantonese, along with English
- Genuine warmth and patience , someone who really listens
- Comfortable working one-on-one with clients (bonus if you've got experience with couples or families too)
- Someone who's reliable and easy to work with, we're a small team and value people who show up for each other
