We require an experienced Medical Receptionist for a specialist medical practice in Liverpool. Our practice is busy, dynamic and patient focused.

This is a casual position for 1 day per week (Monday). Must be adaptable to cover sick leave and holiday leave. Clinic hours are between 7.30 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday. The position is available to commence immediately.

The requirements of the role include-

· Front of house reception

· Meet and greet patients on arrival

· Answer telephone and handle general enquiries including email correspondence

· Co-ordinate patient appointments

· Prepare and receipt patient accounts (Medicare/DVA/private billing)

· Scanning

· Preparing end of day reports

· Medilink and Medical Director software

· General administration tasks

Essential Criteria





· Previous experience as a medical receptionist in a specialist practice

· Excellent communication skills

· Friendly and compassionate disposition

· Strong work ethic and professional approach to patient care

· Maintaining confidentiality of patient records

· Good keyboard skills with accurate data entry

· Ability to work alone without supervision

· Flexibility to work outside of proposed hours to accommodate extra consulting hours should it be required. The practice hours are between 7.30 am and 5.30 pm Monday to Friday

· Excellent computer skills in a paperless office
