The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee all aspects of the food and beverage operations within our hospitality establishment in Busselton, Western Australia. This role is crucial for ensuring exceptional service quality, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. The successful candidate will play a key role in enhancing guest satisfaction and driving profitability through effective management and innovative strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
- Develop and implement menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Manage budgets, identifying areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to promote food and beverage offerings and special events.
- Managed events, conferences, and functions in collaboration with the Marketing and Events team, ensuring seamless execution and the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
Qualifications:
- A degree/ higher diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Robust leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in financial management and budgeting.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
