We're looking for an experienced and motivated Diesel Mechanic / Machine Repairer to join our team. About the Role
You'll be responsible for maintaining our fleet to the highest standard, ensuring machines are safe, reliable and ready for hire.
Your day will include:
- Carrying out scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
- Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Repairing earthmoving and construction equipment
- Completing inspections and identifying future maintenance requirements
- Preparing equipment for hire and checking returned machines
- Recording completed work and service information
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop
- Occasionally attending customer sites for breakdowns or field service work
- Working closely with our operations and hire teams to minimise equipment downtim
