About The Project

The Beveridge Intermodal Precinct is a major freight and logistics infrastructure development that will play a critical role in shaping Victoria’s supply chain network. This large-scale, multi-stakeholder project brings together industry leaders to deliver a state-of-the-art intermodal terminal, enhancing connectivity, efficiency, and economic growth.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead the planning and scheduling function across the full lifecycle of this landmark project.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing integrated project programs, providing critical insights into performance, risk, and opportunities. Your expertise will directly influence project outcomes, supporting safe, efficient, and on-time delivery.

This is a key leadership role where you will act as a trusted advisor to project leadership, while driving best practice in planning, project controls, and data-driven decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and management of detailed project schedules aligned with delivery objectivesImplement best-practice planning and project controls frameworks across time, cost, and resource managementDrive planning excellence, ensuring strong alignment with safety, quality, and environmental standardsPartner with project teams, JV partners, clients,



and subcontractors to ensure effective program coordinationIdentify risks and opportunities early, providing strategic recommendations to optimise project performanceConduct advanced schedule risk analysis, forensic reviews, and time-based analysis to inform decision-makingDeliver insightful reporting and performance forecasting to senior leadershipSupport Project Managers in interpreting program data and developing forward strategiesLeverage tools such as Primavera P6, BIM, and 4D modelling to enhance planning capabilityMentor and guide planning and project controls team members, building capability across the project

What We Are Looking For

Degree qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or similarDemonstrated experience (5–10+ years) in planning/project controls within large-scale infrastructure or construction projectsAdvanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and strong capability in planning systems and analyticsExperience with Schedule Risk Analysis, earned value management, and performance reportingProven ability to manage complex programs and influence senior stakeholdersExperience working in team-oriented project environments (e.g. joint ventures)Strong leadership capability with experience mentoring or guiding planning teamsExposure to digital engineering tools such as BIM or 4D modelling is highly regarded
