Due to continued growth, we are seeking an outstanding Senior Lecturer or Lecturer specialising in Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence to join our Perth campus.

About the Role

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences while contributing to curriculum development, academic quality assurance, and student success.

You will teach across undergraduate and postgraduate programs in areas such as:

- Cyber Security

- Artificial Intelligence

- Machine Learning

- Network and Cloud Security

- Ethical Hacking and Digital Forensics

- Information Technology

- Emerging Technologies

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging face-to-face, blended, and online classes.

- Coordinate units and prepare high-quality learning and assessment materials.

- Develop, review, and continuously improve curriculum.

- Provide timely feedback and academic support to students.

- Participate in assessment moderation and quality assurance activities.

- Contribute to academic governance, accreditation, and compliance processes.

- Engage with industry to maintain contemporary and relevant curriculum.

- Participate in scholarly activities and career development.

- Support a positive, inclusive, and collaborative academic culture.





Selection Criteria
Essential

- PhD in Cyber Security/ AI or a closely related discipline will be considered

- Demonstrated experience teaching in higher education.

- Strong knowledge and expertise in Cyber Security and/or Artificial Intelligence.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Experience using Learning Management Systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard or Moodle).

- A commitment to high-quality teaching and student success.

- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.

Desirable

- Industry experience in Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, or Software Engineering.

- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or equivalent.

- Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

- Experience coordinating units or academic programs.

- Research publications, scholarly activities, or industry engagement.
