About The Opportunity –

As a Planning Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of planning services by ensuring the accurate processing of applications, enquiries and documentation that help shape the future of our community. You will make an impact by





Providing high-quality administrative support for planning permit applications, amendments, approvals and related planning processes. Coordinating referral, notification and submission processes in accordance with statutory and strategic planning requirements. Delivering responsive and professional customer service through telephone, counter and written enquiries. Maintaining accurate records, databases, forms, templates and business systems to support efficient service delivery. Supporting planning staff with meetings, community consultation activities, documentation, reporting and business improvement initiatives.

What You Will Bring

Experience in general office administration within a busy and customer-focused workplace, with preferred experience in statutory planning administration. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications. Well-developed organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships. High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and information systems. Ability to research and interpret information, including property-related records and documentation. A Certificate in Business (Office Administration) or equivalent experience is desirable, along with an understanding of planning, building and/or compliance matters.
