Role Description This full-time, on-site role for a VR General Practitioner is based in the Greater Perth Area at Nova Medical Centre Hamilton Hill. The practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care, including history taking, physical examinations, diagnosis, and evidence-based management of acute and chronic conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include consulting with booked and walk-in patients, prescribing medications, ordering and interpreting investigations, performing minor procedures, and coordinating care with allied health and specialist services. The role also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, complying with clinical governance standards,
participating in practice meetings, and contributing to quality improvement activities. The position offers high guaranteed income potential, supported by strong patient demand and an efficient administrative and nursing team.Qualifications Current FRACGP or equivalent vocational registration, with eligibility for unrestricted practice in Australia.Demonstrated experience in general practice, including management of chronic disease, preventive health, and acute presentations across diverse age groups.Solid clinical decision-making skills, sound knowledge of evidence-based guidelines, and competence in minor procedures commonly performed in primary care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members.Commitment to ethical, patient-centred care, cultural safety, and non-discriminatory practice for all community members.Ability to work efficiently in a busy clinical workplace, using clinical software and electronic medical records with high attention to detail.Willingness to participate in continuing professional development, meet regulatory and accreditation requirements, and engage in practice quality initiatives.Current AHPRA registration, appropriate professional indemnity insurance, and relevant working rights in Australia.
