Providence Education is a new vocational training provider on the Gold Coast, currently preparing its initial registration application to ASQA. We are seeking a qualified Trainer and Assessor for SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality and SIT20322 Certificate II in Hospitality.
This role is a hybrid of online and on site delivery. You will deliver the underpinning theory and customer service units online, with regular hands on sessions on the Gold Coast covering food preparation (simple dishes, sandwiches, appetisers and salads), espresso coffee, food safety and hygiene, and kitchen operations.
This is a conditional, pre registration engagement. It is unpaid until registration is granted, with paid sessional delivery beginning once the provider is registered and the first cohort enrols. You will be credited as the named trainer in the registration application, with your written consent, and you have first right to the delivery work.
What you will need
TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or vocational competency plus TAE in progress, delivering under supervision
Hospitality qualifications or trade equivalent
Current industry skills across kitchen operations, espresso coffee and food and beverage service
Genuine commitment to culturally protected training for First Nations learners
