Limited seller opportunity for a multi-year specialist PM Contract role

This is a rare prospect to join a high-profile Federal Government technology program through a leading Canberra-based agency. Working within a complex and contemporary ICT delivery environment, you'll contribute to the successful delivery of strategic digital transformation and service management initiatives that directly support critical public sector outcomes.

Due to the specialised nature of this requirement, this opportunity is only being released to a limited group of experienced ICT project delivery specialists in the Canberra market. Candidates must be Canberra-based and hold a current Australian Government Baseline Security Clearance (minimum) to be considered.

Your new role

As an ITSM Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of complex ICT and Service Management initiatives within a large-scale enterprise setting. You will be responsible for driving projects from initiation through to transition into business-as-usual operations, ensuring outcomes are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with established governance frameworks.

Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, delivery partners and vendors, you will manage project planning, governance, risk and issue management, stakeholder engagement, operational readiness, and service transition activities. This role will suit an experienced project leader who understands the challenges of delivering ITSM and Enterprise Service Management outcomes within complex organisations.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will demonstrate:

- A minimum of five years' experience delivering complex ICT projects within large and complex technology environments.
- Proven experience managing IT Service Management (ITSM) or Enterprise Service Management (ESM) projects, including planning, implementation, operational readiness, transition,



and continual service improvement initiatives.
- Strong experience working in ITSM delivery environments with cloud-based service management platforms and associated vendor ecosystems.
- Demonstrated capability managing vendors, suppliers, procurement processes, delivery assurance, risk management, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across business, technical, executive, and external partner groups.
- Relevant Project Management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, Agile) and ITIL qualifications will be highly regarded.
