At Everhard Industries, we're looking for an experienced Accountant who enjoys combining technical expertise with commercial thinking. Reporting to our Financial Controller, you'll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our financial operations while helping improve the systems, processes and insights that drive business performance.

What you'll be doing

You’ll have ownership across a broad range of financial accounting responsibilities, including:

- Preparing monthly management accounts, journals and reconciliations across multiple entities.
- Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger and supporting accurate financial reporting.




- Managing costing activities including standard cost roll-ups, landed cost allocation, absorption costing and inventory reconciliations.
- Monitoring fixed assets, foreign currency transactions and cash flow forecasting.
- Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes, controls and systems.

Tax & Compliance

- Preparing BAS, FBT and other ATO reporting obligations.
- Assisting with payroll tax reconciliations, corporate income tax calculations and statutory compliance.
- Supporting solid financial governance and internal controls.

Business Support

- Maintaining accurate financial records and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Supporting projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Finance team.
- Working closely with stakeholders to provide meaningful financial insights that support better business decisions.
