We have full-time opportunities available across both Accounts/Administration and Warehouse Operations, making this an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and essential industry that helps keep Queensland supplied with fresh produce.

About Brisbane Markets The Brisbane Markets is Queensland's only central fruit and vegetable Market, and the state’s most important centre for the wholesale marketing and distribution of fresh produce. It records an annual trade in excess of 700 million kilograms of fruit and vegetables valued at more than $2 billion, making it Queensland’s Heart of Fresh Produce.

Current Opportunities

Accounts / Administration Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

- Processing and recording financial transactions, including invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Maintaining and reconciling financial records and accounts
- Providing general administrative support, including filing, data entry and responding to enquiries
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Supporting compliance with accounting policies and procedures
- Delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

What We're Looking For:

- Previous administration or accounting experience, preferably in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- A strong commitment to customer service.

Warehouse Picker Packers / Forklift Drivers





Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately picking, packing and preparing customer orders for despatch
- Safely operating forklifts and warehouse equipment in accordance with workplace procedures
- Receiving, unloading and storing incoming stock and deliveries
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Assisting with general warehousing and logistics duties as required.

What We're Looking For:

- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment
- Current forklift licence and operating experience, or willingness to obtain a licence
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, proactive and safety-focused attitude
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling duties.

What Is On Offer

- Early start, early finish rosters
- Accounts/Administration: Approximately 4am to 12pm
- Warehouse Operations: Shifts commencing between midnight and 4am, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work as required
