Role Description This part-time remote Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist role at Tu Aliado Venezuela focuses on supporting day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities include processing vendor invoices, matching purchase orders, preparing and scheduling payments, and maintaining accurate accounts payable records. The specialist will also generate and send customer invoices, track incoming payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and reconcile customer accounts. Additional tasks include preparing expense reports, posting journal entries, assisting with month-end closing activities, and collaborating with the finance team to ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.

The role requires consistent attention to detail, adherence to internal controls, and clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

Strong foundational knowledge of Finance and Accounting, with the ability to apply principles to day-to-day payables and receivables activities.





Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing Expense Reports and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Proficiency in recording and reconciling Journal Entries (Accounting) in accounting or ERP systems.

Well-developed Analytical Skills to identify discrepancies, resolve issues, and support accurate financial reporting.

Experience with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment posting, and account reconciliation.

Comfort working remotely, with reliable internet access, solid organizational skills, and the ability to manage time and priorities independently.

Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software; familiarity with cloud-based finance tools is an advantage.

Clear written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with vendors, customers, and internal teams.

Relevant coursework or certification in finance, accounting, or a related field; prior experience in similar roles is preferred.
