NEOS is looking for a dynamic Actuarial Analyst with proven computer science applications and an actuarial science background who will independently develop and maintain actuarial models, market analytics, and business intelligence reporting that inform key business functions including Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to enhance our automated analytical tools, insights delivery and competitive pricing input to our partners. That’s where you come in! Key responsibilities

Design and oversee market pricing analytics and competitiveness frameworks, including premium curves, heatmaps, and benchmarking of new business pricing against market competitors.

Develop and maintain the cashflow valuation model, including model design, assumption setting, and monthly valuation reporting.

Lead policyholder lapse analysis, identify contributing factors, and architect automated programs to support lapse insights and reporting.

Oversee monthly sales performance and market quoting reports, analysing trends across the sales pipeline, product performance, and adviser recommendations.

Construct and maintain SQL data views and tables to support analysis and visualisation across business operations.





Conduct pricing elasticity studies to model expected market share outcomes based on product pricing.

Perform premium control checks and develop supporting programs, liaising with the product team to ensure calculations align with product rules.

Provide and present actuarial, pricing, and market analytics data and findings to internal stakeholders, auditors, and external partners to support business decisions and new product development.

Provide technical guidance and mentoring to actuarial interns. Essential skills and experience

High proficiency in Python, including developing and maintaining automated programs and data pipelines

High proficiency in Microsoft Excel

High proficiency in Power BI, including dashboards, and DAX/Power Query

High proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server), including constructing and maintaining data views and tables

Strong data cleaning, manipulation, and analytical skills across complex datasets

Strong data modelling capabilities, including building and maintaining cashflow and actuarial predictive models

Excellent communication skills

Experience working in a collaborative environment and developing productive working relationships with the team and wider stakeholder group

Experience working in an agile environment

Experience capturing requirements from stakeholders

Comfortable working in ambiguous rapid changing environments Preferred skills and experience The following will be looked upon favourably:

Experience with life insurance data and pricing concepts

Proficiency in R or other statistical programming languages

Experience with retrieving and working with data through APIs

Demonstrated experience using AI and emerging technologies in a practical, work-enhancing way.

Ability to understand and apply AI tooling for automation and improving workflow.





Experience with AI tools (e.g. Copilot) to support productivity and decision-making

Familiarity with Git/GitHub for version control
