Role Description The Adobe AIR Mobile Specialist is a full time, on-site role based in Melbourne. This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining mobile applications using Adobe AIR and related frameworks, ensuring high performance and a consistent user experience across platforms. Day-to-day tasks include coding and debugging applications, integrating APIs and third-party services, optimizing app performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as product managers, designers, and QA engineers.

The specialist will also participate in requirements analysis, contribute to technical documentation,



conduct testing and troubleshooting, and support deployments to app stores or enterprise environments. Ongoing responsibilities include staying current with mobile development best practices, improving existing applications, and providing technical guidance to team members when needed.

Qualifications

Strong Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and explaining technical concepts clearly.

Customer Service experience in supporting internal stakeholders or end users and addressing issues related to mobile applications.

Knowledge of Export and Freight processes is beneficial for projects involving logistics, supply chain, or related domains.

Experience in Training, including creating documentation, conducting workshops, or mentoring team members on Adobe AIR and mobile development practices.

Proven experience developing mobile applications with Adobe AIR, ActionScript, and related technologies.

Familiarity with mobile platforms (Android, iOS) and app deployment processes, including performance optimization and debugging tools.

Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with back-end services;

experience working with agile development methodologies.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Ability to work on-site in Dublin, manage multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions within set timelines.
