Employment Type: Fixed Term (12-months, Maternity Leave Cover), Part Time (56 hours/fortnight) - Salary: Mental Health Admin Grade 2 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging About the role Western Health is seeking a motivated and organised Administrative Support Officer to join our Community Mental Health and Wellbeing Team on a 12-month fixed-term maternity leave contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive multidisciplinary team providing specialist mental health services across Melbourne's western region. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the service, supporting clinicians and contributing to high‑quality care for consumers.
Responsibilities - Maintaining accurate medical records and electronic documentation - Data entry into clinical information systems - Preparing, scanning and filing clinical documentation - Managing appointments and clinician diaries - Coordinating interpreter bookings - Supporting clinicians and consumers with day‑to‑day administrative needs - Ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and reporting requirements - Contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment About you - Has excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail - Can manage competing priorities in a busy setting - Has experience in administration, reception or customer service,
preferably within healthcare - Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Is confident using computer systems and learning new software - Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team - Values compassion, professionalism and high‑quality customer service - Knowledge of mental health services or experience within a hospital or community health setting will be highly regarded Why join us?
