Provide daily irrigation support for sustainable almond orchard growth for a well-known organisation. 14th July, 2026 The Opportunity We're looking for Agricultural Leading Hands to support the sustainable growth and production of our Almond Orchards. Based at orchards in North-West VIC & Southern NSW (located in the towns of Liparoo, Wemen, Annuello, Boundary Bend, Kenley, Darlington Point & Tocabil), you would work closely with the Regional Irrigation Controller and have the responsibility for day-to-day irrigation operations. This hands-on role is a outstanding opportunity for someone interested in Irrigation and Farming to be coached by experienced leaders and get involved in monitoring soil moisture and maintaining the farm’s irrigation equipment and infrastructure.

This role will come with a single cab utility vehicle that is able to be driven to and from work and around farm, and a salary of $80,000-$95,000.





Key Responsibilities - Assist in irrigation and maintenance program requirements; - Liaise with contractors to ensure timelines and scoped works are met; - Assist in monitoring and managing the efficient and timely delivery of water and fertiliser to the orchards; - Maintain irrigation equipment and ensure timely servicing and repairs of the irrigation system; - Identify and report wet areas and undertake corrective measures.

What We're Looking For - A great team attitude; - A strong safety mindset and a proven safety track record; - Hardworking and eager to learn new skills; - Ideally 2 years of experience in irrigation is required, however 12 months in irrigation plus a further 12 months of other work experience in other non-irrigation roles will be considered if transferrable skills, or a related qualification is deemed highly regarded.
