Aircraft Maintenance (AM) Trimmer Qantas Engineering keeps us at the forefront of aviation, caring and maintaining both the Qantas fleet, as well as aircraft for our customers. As the Aircraft Maintenance (AM) Trimmer you will be responsible for the manufacture and repair of aircraft and component trimming and furnishings, including but not limited to aircraft interior furnishings, ULD straps and curtains.
You will be working with a range of specialist teams enabling you to provide excellent engineering standards on a solid foundation of safety, quality, reliability and service.
Qualifications - Completed Certificate III in Automotive and Marine Trimming Technology (AQF AUR32320) or equivalent.
- Relevant Aircraft Maintenance experience is desirable, but not essential.
- Previous relevant experience with interior trimming.
- Proven ability to work within tight tolerances requiring a high degree of precision and accuracy.
- Ability to complete all documentation and reporting requirements to a high standard.
- Taken ownership and driven outcomes to meet business requirements.
- Compliance and safety focus, adhering to all safe working practices and service standards.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
- Commitment to being customer focused with the flexibility and willingness to undertake other reasonable duties as required.
- A working knowledge of computers and intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Highly developed attention to detail.
