About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Aluminium Window & Door Estimator to join our growing team in Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established business delivering high-quality aluminium window and door solutions across residential, commercial, and architectural projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations, interpreting architectural documentation, and working closely with clients, project managers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure competitive and profitable estimates.

Key Responsibilities

- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Prepare accurate material take-offs and cost estimates for aluminium windows, doors, glazing, and associated products.
- Generate detailed quotations within required timeframes.
- Liaise with builders, architects, developers, and customers to clarify project requirements.
- Source pricing from local and overseas suppliers/subcontractors.
- Ensure estimates comply with Australian Standards, NCC requirements, and project specifications.
- Maintain estimating records, pricing databases, and documentation.
- Support the sales and project delivery teams during handover.

Skills & Experience

- Previous estimating experience within the aluminium window and door industry.
- Strong understanding of commercial and residential glazing systems.




- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of aluminium systems, hardware, glass specifications, and fabrication processes.
- Experience using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.
- Current Australian driver's licence.

Desirable Qualifications

- Understanding of Australian Standards relating to glazing and aluminium window systems.
- Experience estimating projects ranging from residential homes to large commercial developments.
