Employment type: Ongoing and fulltime temporary opportunities Salary: $102,936 to $113,579, plus superannuation and annual leave loading A talent pool may be created for future ongoing and temporary roles Your role Join Homes NSW's Portfolio Asset Management team and play an important role in maintaining and improving public housing assets across NSW. As an Asset Performance Officer, you will contribute to the delivery of maintenance programs, asset projects and property inspections that support safe, compliant and well-maintained homes for our tenants. This is an excellent prospect for someone with experience in building maintenance, construction, asset management or property inspections who is passionate about delivering quality outcomes for communities for the citizens of NSW.

What you’ll do As an Asset Performance Officer, you will work across a broad range of asset management and maintenance activities, supporting the delivery of maintenance works and contractor performance outcomes across allocated properties. You will collaborate with contractors, tenants and internal stakeholders to ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with relevant standards and policies.

- Scope, assess and monitor maintenance works across allocated properties.
- Develop and manage planned maintenance programs using asset data and local knowledge.
- Conduct inspections and maintain accurate records of findings and required actions.
- Monitor contractor performance and address compliance issues where required.
- Identify and elevate emerging issues and provide recommendations to improve service delivery outcomes.
- Build effective working relationships with contractors, tenants and internal stakeholders. The role offers a mix of field-based and office-based work,



providing variety and opportunities to apply your technical knowledge in a practical environment. What we’re looking for We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused professional who can work collaboratively with others while managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Sound building experience or exposure, together with experience in contract administration including preparing quotations or estimates.
- Knowledge of Contract requirements, standards and policies together with the capacity to interpret and apply Contract requirements, standards and policies.
- Current working knowledge of the Australian Building Codes.
- Understanding of the Australian Building Codes, Australian Standards, Government or commercial probity and contracting standards.
- Relevant qualification and/or sound construction building maintenance and/or building construction experience/exposure, together with field inspection experience and measurement of performance against standards.
- Desirable – experience in compliance inspections of building essential services.
