The Opportunity:

Due to Maitland City Council's commitment to ongoing asset management maturity, our team is experiencing significant growth with a number of new opportunities available!

As our Asset Management Planner, you will play an important role in supporting the long-term planning and sustainable management of Council's civil infrastructure asset portfolio. Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation, you will contribute to the development and ongoing review of Asset Lifecycle Plans that help guide future investment and ensure Council's civil infrastructure assets continue to meet the needs of our growing community.

On a day-to-day basis your role will be to support the Senior Asset Management Planner by reviewing asset data, monitoring asset performance, undertaking asset condition assessments and assisting with annual asset revaluation processes and lifecycle planning.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have qualifications in Asset Management, engineering, or project management. In addition, you will also have:

- Demonstrated experience working with civil infrastructure assets.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, analysing, assessing and implementing strategic asset solutions and plans.
- Knowledge and experience in using asset management systems, predictive modelling applications, GIS and data querying to support asset management.
- Knowledge of whole of life costing and cost/benefit analysis techniques.
- Excellent time management, planning and administrative skills.

Benefits: This is a full-time, permanent role working a 35-hour week, with a base salary range of $110,152- $122,269 per year based on demonstrated experience and qualifications + 12% super.
