The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join our Finance team in South Yarra. This is a hands‑on role with real breadth - you’ll work across multi‑entity operations, subscription billing, international payments, and month‑end close, reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller.
You’ll be the person who keeps our financial data accurate and our processes running smoothly across the AutoGrab Group - including our Australian, UK and Malaysian entities. You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations and the broader business, and you’ll bring initiative and attention to detail to everything you do.
This role is an immediate backfill and we’re looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
What You’ll Do
Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices accurately and on time
- Manage payment runs across multiple payment gateways
- Conduct regular credit control and manage aged payables
- Handle supplier queries professionally and promptly
Accounts Receivable
- Generate and issue customer billing accurately and on time
- Conduct regular credit control and manage aged receivables
- Handle customer queries professionally and promptly
- Reconcile customer accounts
Month‑End & Reconciliations
- Prepare and post month‑end journals for accruals, prepayments and adjustments
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations including AP, AR, GST and prepayments
- Reconcile intercompany loan accounts across the AutoGrab Group
