About the role
- Support the Restaurant General Manager with the day-to-day running of the restaurant.
- Lead, coach and motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Manage restaurant operations including shift management, rostering and team performance.
- Drive sales, labour efficiency and operational KPIs.
- Monitor stock levels, inventory and ordering.
- Maintain high food safety, cleanliness and workplace safety standards.
- Recruit, train and develop crew members and shift leaders.
- Build a positive team culture and strong relationships within the local community.
About you
- Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, Shift Manager or Team Leader.
- Experience in hospitality, fast food, QSR or retail management.
- Strong leadership, coaching and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and workplace safety requirements.
- Current Food Safety Certificate (preferred).
- Requires bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting (up to 10 kilograms, as necessary)
- Ability to travel to other restaurants, meeting venues, etc.
- Versatile availability including evenings and weekends.
