The opportunity

Are you ready to commence your Professional Year and take the next step towards becoming a Private Wealth Adviser? We are looking for an Associate Adviser ready to build a genuine career in financial advice.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an Associate Adviser to join one of our highly successful Private Wealth teams. Working alongside four experienced Private Wealth Advisers and a dedicated team of Client Services Administrators, you will play an integral role in delivering exceptional advice and service to a substantial client base.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an aspiring adviser to gain hands-on experience while completing your Professional Year within a supportive, collaborative and high-performing environment. You'll receive mentoring and structured development from experienced advisers, allowing you to build the technical, analytical and client relationship skills required for a successful career in wealth management.

As an Associate Adviser, you will contribute across the advice process, supporting advisers in delivering strategic financial advice and proactive portfolio management. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting in the preparation of advice documentation including Records of Advice (ROAs) and Statements of Advice (SOA).
- Gathering and analysing client information to support the development of financial planning strategies and recommendations.
- Undertaking research and analysis across investment,



superannuation and wealth management solutions.
- Preparing client review documentation and supporting advisers ahead of client meetings.
- Assisting with the implementation of advice recommendations and portfolio investment activities.
- Supporting superannuation, investment and broader wealth management administration requirements.
- Observing and participating in client meetings under adviser supervision, progressively developing client engagement and communication skills throughout your Professional Year.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial advice and recommendations, with increasing responsibility as your technical knowledge and experience develop.
- Participating in morning market meetings, reviewing overnight market activity and preparing summaries for Private Wealth Advisers.
- Developing the technical, compliance, analytical and client service capabilities required to progress towards becoming a qualified Adviser.

This role offers a structured pathway through your Professional Year, with increasing exposure to client engagement, advice preparation, investment analysis and portfolio management as your experience grows.

This opportunity is ideally suited to a recent approved degree graduate who is ready to commence their Qualified Year and build a long-term career in private wealth advice. You may already have experience in a financial planning support, client services or administration role and are now looking to take the next step towards becoming an adviser.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- A completed and approved Bachelor's degree in Financial Planning or a related discipline that meets ASIC education requirements.
- Previous experience in a client services,



paraplanning support or financial planning administration role, ideally within a wealth management or financial advice environment.
- Ambition to build a successful career in financial advice and a willingness to invest in your ongoing development and growth.
- A genuine interest in financial planning and an understanding of the important role strategic advice plays in helping clients achieve their financial goals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and approach complex situations thoughtfully.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the confidence to engage professionally with clients and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to learning, together with a commitment to developing your technical knowledge, market awareness and client relationship skills.
- A high level of professionalism, personal accountability and integrity.
