Associate – Natural Resources & Energy Transition (NET) – Australia – Bank of America
Responsibilities
- Operate as project/deal team lead, driving work product and transaction processes
- Participate in the execution of equity and debt financing and M&A; transactions
- Perform in-depth financial, valuation, product and industry analysis, and due diligence
- Prepare pitch books, client presentations and live deal materials
- Build financial models
- Attend client meetings
- Help generate ideas and opportunities for new and existing clients
- Train and mentor junior bankers (Analysts) as they develop core investment banking skill sets
Qualifications
- Investment Banking experience ideally within Natural Resources, Energy, Infrastructure or Industrials
- Outstanding academic achievement
- Robust financial analysis / financial modeling skills
- Detail oriented with solid quantitative and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of investment banking, corporate finance, M&A;, modelling/valuation or consulting experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
